How do I make an order?
Just click on the product of your choice, and add it to your cart. This will take you to your shopping cart where quantities can be changed. Then checkout to provide your credit card detailsfor payment.

How do I pay for my order?
Is it safe to use my credit card? - When you checkout you are directed to the Paypal secure payment gateway where you can enter your details safely.

How much does shipping cost?
We have 3 different shipping options with New Zealand Couriers: $x.xx for Auckland Local delivery, $x.xx Overnight North Island or $x.xx to the South Island for a two day service all for (Non Rural) delivery. We cannot courier to P.O Box numbers or ship drinks, large bottles or cereals overseas internationally.

I am after a certain product can you order it in for me?
We might already have the product you are interested in, so please Contact Martha's Backyard and we will let you know if we have it instore or something similar.

What if my order is wrong, lost or damaged?
Our customers always come first and we will always do our best to make sure our customers are happy. Please see check out our Terms page or Contact Martha's Backyard to discuss any queries directly.

I have a food allergy, how do I find out the ingredients in one of your products sold?
If a product is listed on the website as Nut Free, Gluten Free, Sugar Free or Fat Free, it is because it is on the outside packaging. Please contact us for specific product information and we will try to help. If you have any allergies please do your research on the product before ordering it.

How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders will arrive between 1- 5 days depending on the delivery option you choose and the day you ordered. (Currently there are no weekend courier runs, so if you order Thursday night or Friday your order will arrive Monday. To have the best possible chance of getting your parcel overnight please have your order in before 1pm daily, so it can make the last courier pick up for the day. Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays will be processed the following business day. We will make every effort to deliver your items as quickly as possible; dispatch times indicated are subject to change. Please check your track and trace first from your order email and give your parcel at least 5 business days before contacting us about your order. (In case it was made on a Thursday but will not arrive until the Monday or Tuesday if in a rural area.) Rural packages usually take 1 extra day.) A product is Currently Out of Stock or has disappeared from the site. How long until it will be available again?
Most items will be back in stock within one to two weeks others could be up to a month or 2 depending on the date of the next shipment. Feel free to ask about a particular product here.

What is the difference between an expiration date and a best before date?
An expiration date is the date after which the product is of no use, whereas the best before date indicates the date before the product gives its original flavour. Therefore it still safe to consume products after this best before date.

Do you sell products with expired dates?
We stock many short shelf life items and we will provide either the best by date or expiration dates as much as possible. Online, we only sell current expiration dates and nothing which has expired. Manufacturers indicate best by dates to advise you when the product is best consumed. Certain items such as chips will have a much shorter shelf life so be sure you want the product knowing this.
